Once in a while I open your front page to look for that text adventure game you made the other day to listen to that one song; so it's actually 29 to 49 people. But then I remember that it's not on any page but in the commentes.
@saint-images https://brennholz.bandcamp.com/track/krasskater here's the song btw, without static and available to download :]
new poem's literally just a .txt, it's 2 am and I couldn't be arsed with all this coding shit. This means it doesn't show up in the Update, so you get to figure out which one of these cruddy titles is new (hint; the one that's not in the preview image, probably). Night.
...back to apologize, that comment sounded kind of mean, just had a bad day lol
It's my one year anniversary! Scroll down on my index page for a little trinket comemmorating this occasion.
Like so many of my """creative projects""", this page was made on a slow holiday afternoon, just messing around in a new medium without any real idea of what to do with it. Unlike all those other projects, however, this page is still standing, being updated (from time to time...) a whole year after its creation.
I recognize that it's not much, but it still means a lot to me. As a birthday gift from me to you on my birthday (jesus-style), have this (barely) Interactive Fiction thing I made for a game week over the course of last week:
Happy anniversary to my favorite firewood log! The lore you've made for the world is really well thought and creative, I enjoyed it (especially the past... https://files.catbox.moe/pmiy0u.png). The game itself was a bit unsettling in a few moments, but the topics you've covered are worth of thinking about, in my opinion. And the tune in the very beginning is very catchy B-)
On a side note, your guestbook seems to have met the fate of the Underwater Boy. The server, playing the role of photosynthesis probably still have the data, but it is covered by the rubble after the shockwave (a server failure).
Thanks, dude! (^-^) Yeah that error thing happens pretty often, the software i used to make this kinda sux. I'm glad you pointed out that first track specifically, it's the only good thing to come out of my music 2000 era (ps1 music production app i used when i was 16 cause fl is too expensive and i was not aware of lmms). By the way, you calling me your favorite firewood log (awww!) has made me realize the obvious->
pun I should have based this whole website on. I'm renaming random thoughts to "Log of a log" NOW lol
You really should release an album of PS1 stuff! It would be cool to listen to it
Congratulations on your anniversary! The font of your game burned my eyes out but it was worth it : )
@saint-images I probably will at some point! @pikemalarky Thanks! :) And changing the font is added to the to do list if I make another version... (*~*)
Thanks! Honestly, I had to look up who Wilfred Owen was. (Don't know shit!) Seems like grim physicality was the only way for him to poetically process the horrors of war. Meanwhile, I'm just complaining about my dreams... Anyway, I really like that line, 'a smile is just another way to bare your teeth'. I think it could be the official slogan for passive aggression lol
Ah, I think Owen is just a UK thing (also reading him now so he's at the front of my mind). German poetry is beyond me, so I really appreciate having your bilingual & English poems.
