Yes, I am going to install Emscripten and VS Build Tools just for the sake of WASM, so what?

Are you just using default C? Why not C++? Unless that's just how WebAssembly works.
I have heard about using C++ for Emscripten, but I've already tried it and it's kinda weird too. :P
Also I'm surprised someone else knows coding languages other than web languages out there :P
