I also went and did my best at optimizing the 2016-2024 galleries with smaller thumbnails, so hopefully it lessens the load on visitors' browsers

Some 123GB alternatives are smartgb and ultraguest! there's also Ayano's comment widget if you prefer to use something that doesnt rely on a GB service!

Playing around with how I present my gallery (not the gallery code itself, but the page), I feel like rn it involves lots of clicking... I think I'll run some tests with iframes.

Honestly I might email Kyle to suggest making the follower count not visible to anyone because the social media follower number brainrot goes DEEP

If you're suggesting to Kyle about the follower count being invisible, maybe you could suggest expanding the options available under "hiding profile". Like maybe you could hide the feed, hide the followers, or hide who you follow, something like that.
