ROFL i feel crazy but i think i should be all set.....no more changing.....

but i guess i understand the want to make a platform for “old-styled webhosting” that doesnt engage in the social aspect at all like neocities does. idk i dont think i plan on uprooting myself to it

i honestly like it better . neocities isnt giving me all that fun personal web vibe as much as nekoweb does , it just feels more like the website is a part of thecommunity and i like how u can host almost every file type ! i might even buy a donator program because its much cheaper than on here ! i think its worht a shot :]

also since nekoweb is only on its beginning as a public hosting server , im sure we will see more to the social aspect in thefuture ! i think the creators said they were planning on adding it anyway ^__^

i'll get silly with both for now, i really do hope for more of a social aspect....

that's what i'm planning to do with my nekoweb, just a redirect to my neocities lol. i agree with being content, interactions being fulfilling is a good way to put it. i'm very happy with the little internet strangers i've gotten to know on here :-)

i'm planning on making a redirect too. could also just be a backup option in case neocities goes down, yknow?

it'll all be okay :-) what's the take on changing your username on neocities? neocities discourages it because links will break & it'll be more difficult to be found, but im Inch Rested in doing it....

my site's original name wasn't ikaroll and clearly it hasn't stopped my site from being found now

u should try hosting images on neocities ! ! its a lot better

yes, i originally didnt cz so many of my photos were sometimes around 20MB each!!! but i got supporter so there's some room now.........all i gotta do is update it!

filegarden is also really good for imghosting! i would also recommend just making the size/res smaller because oftentimes the quality is pretty much the same but just. itll actually load LOL

What a shame, your photography was absolutely stunning. As far as alternative image hosts go, ironically I’ve found that the tumblr CDN is pretty bulletproof. If you upload images there they stay forever and the links don’t change. It is a pain to upload everything to tumblr though, and their privacy is not so good anymore.

gosh, thank you!!!! i think i'm gonna go with neocities for hosting my images even if they're insane file sizes (or if i just crunch them down, it'll work). it'd be nice to have everything in one place rather than rely on another img hosting service but i 100% get why people do it
