explore a life cycle in some kind of writing. for example, you could use metamorphosis, diapause/hibernation, paedogenesis [very weird], puberty, the salmon life cycle, the amphibian life cycle, or something else entirely! you don't have to be direct-- just start here and get inspired.

Added muse entry this morning. I have not touched poetry in a while but this prompt was great. I suppose the muse will get me back into the writing flow.

After re-reading it, I figured ghazl sounds better in Arabic due to the motion of its vowels and lack thereof, but English may still have a chance if the rhyme scheme was just right.

neocities won't post this week's prompt for some reason, so please just check the home page of the muse site! separately, i want to note that i really encourage y'all to comment on this profile once you've finished your pieces ! we don't all follow each other, after all. secondly, please comment on each other's writing ! the purpose of this club is obviously to write, but it's also to find community in writing.
