last i saw there seemed to be some fight over something with the site and it just... disappeared n idk if it'd be coming back atp lol

iirc they announced they would be unfollowing everyone to get higher on the featured sites list, and it seemed like ppl were fine atp, but then they mentioned they would be blocking anyone who didn't want to be part of the project (including anyone criticising it or smth, the list of block reasons was pretty long and i don't remember them all). the reason they gave was because they checked recently updated sites(1/2)

every day and didn't want those people filling up the list, but some ppl saw it as losing the vision of the site since it became more about views than collaboration, and they thought it was overkill to block anyone who criticized. i think federiefederi also made some passive aggressive posts about it but tbf people were spamming their profile so idk, i think the whole thing just blew way out of proportion :s (2/2)
