hey, your page looks really cool so far! i love the hand drawn elements :) just a small suggestion - you should lower the size and resolution of your image elements so it loads quicker! on desktop there's no need for most images to be bigger than 500 x 500 px. it'll help a lot if you're planning on loading a lot of hand-drawn elements in the future (speaking from personal experience xD) best of luck with the site :D

ok i think all my links have been updated to work properly. still need to add a few more neighbours so if you don't see yourself, i'm working on it. otherwise, lmk if you come across any links that don't at least redirect to my 404 page.

still in the process of changing all my links from mazapandust-->adiosmazzy. i have not yet recreated my green/black button but the blue one has been updated. if we are neighbours feel free to use that one in the meantime (at the bottom of my homepage) :D

(mazapándust --> adiósmazzy) in the process of overhauling my site name + every link affiliated with it. this is gonna take forever but i think it's for the best - i haven't felt like i could confidently move forward with any new projects while still using the name created for my méxico-specific projects. stay tuned as i'll be making new buttons + breaking a shit ton of links in the days to follow.

really contemplating changing my whole URL/site name. i have been mazapán dust online for 7 years but feel like it keeps me too tied to who i was in mexico despite no longer living there. have you ever changed your whole site name and how did it go for you?

the way i like to think about things like that is taking "why not?" very seriously; if you're really wanting to do it and you can't think of a really solid reason not to, why not? :-)

i changed my website's name a year ago, and it was one of the best decisions i've made. i identify with the current name so much more, and i think it fits my site's content much better. it was a bit of a hassle letting all my mutuals know about the button swap and everything, but it was absolutely worth it. if i hadn't changed it, it would probably still be bothering me today.

thanks for the insight guys :D @nanacore that's all the exact stuff i'm struggling with myself. plus external site accounts are all consolidated with this name (like email and reddit) and can't be changed without making a new account. but i def feel like i've outgrown it
