neocities preview is doing my site dirty... the css didn't load :sob: i'll regenerate it later
i haven't updated for basically the whole year, but i was constantly thinking about the site! i had tons of exams too, so updating just took a while! i will probably focus on studies after my summer break ends, but i still have things i want to do. my motivation hasn't gone yet!

i was working on a dark theme in february, and it wasn't going well. it required me to stop using iframes for the navigation, and i wasn't happy with it. however, near the end of march, i started using astro as a static site generator. the way the site is coded has pretty much completely changed, but the most noticeable difference is that there's now a dark mode! there's more details in my update log :D
i noticed on your webrings/links page you have nonkiru.art as a broken button. i also liked nonkiru.art so i did some research and found out that they changed names to meowpricot.art and they're still updating their site!!! i was really happy about this so i thought i should let you know :D

i literally just changed where a file was and had to change the file path nothing actually changed

all i did to commemorate this is to add more stuff to the art gallery. but incidentally... I MADE A FONT!!! you can download it on my site, it's inspired by evo SMP :)

i somehow had the motivation to update my oc page, specifically, i have added some character pages with backstories, and the rest at least have an image and some basic facts! i also added new buttons to the sidebar (hello all my neocities followers with buttons!), and discovered that i could reply to my guestbook messages this whole time... sorry everyone LOL
i updated the art gallery with some 2025 pieces and short 'subheadings' that give a quick summary of how i feel about each year. i want to update my site more often, but assignments + chipping away at my characters' lore has been taking my time away from that. see you whenever i come back!
the css didn't load properly in my website's preview when i updated a day or two ago, this is just me fixing that :)
