ive seen a post where ig theres an update for some ppl the site layout looks pretty much identical to twitter and my mood went from neutral to morbidly fucking disappointed
Absolutely agree; I was burnt out on social media-fication of platforms like.. two years ago, now whenever a platform copies the (bad) design changes made to other sites I just feel the urge to fully give up on it, lol
God I relate to this feeling. I'm so tired of corpo internet and social media sites constantly trying to mimic the "trendiest" features while ignoring literally everything the userbase(s) actually wants and/or needs.
yeah it fucking SUCKS.... there's actually a tumblr theme for your blog where it's literally just the twitter layout. and it's fully self aware too bcs the theme is called 'chirp' -__-
it's honestly so exhausting because tumblr was the one site i liked rejoining but we can't have that :(
tumblr if making useless fucking updates to the website and shilling their shit instead of making it functional was a job

The new nav takes up so much space. It was totally fine before, now it's a UI nightmare! 😭
MOOD after seeing some of the small stuff they were doing I went into overdrive on site stuff/moving to NON company owned social places :/
