Two exactly same plants will adapt differently when placed in different conditions. Whether it's a product of cognition or a result of an algorithm (or something inbetween), it's a decision in my book; so, to answer your question - yes, they are.

All of these look amazing. There is something about your art in these pieces that makes it feel like it has a "pixel limit". Whatever the case may be, I really enjoy the idea of the deep orc and it made me think about applying that concept to other biomes. Then sprang the thought of ancient egyptian gods as champions of each orc kin. Good art makes the imagination run wild.
Glad you liked them. I wouldn't call it a "pixel limit", my main inspiration for these was the 1st Edition D&D Monster Manual where the illustrations were printed really small, likely to save on printing costs. I'm immitating that style even though I don't have that limitation.
