would you consider writing a review about it? what you liked and disliked compared to neocities (no pressure, just curious ^^)
@solaria Totally, I was actually planing on it! You totally read my mind lmao
Was it bad? Bc I saw nekoweb, and was interested in it as a possible website hosting alt.
@feralasar it's not bad, it's got a couple of features I like, the community veers a lot younger though and I think teenagers are typically annoying
Honestly the fact the Devs thought having that cat chasing cursor on the homepage prevented me from going any further. I just assumed a lot of the sites had gimmicks like that
nekoweb users are the type to join the r/neocities server just to say "nekoweb better" then leave
Sure is! I have my username parked there, but I am... also uninterested in socializing with teenagers. There are some things I found grating, but it's good to have more kinds of spaces.
I don't blame them because his site is fun, but can't they take it to email or his forum...
I think it's a case of not grokking social norms, but it does make me wish there was a "mute" feature...
Not back here, just updated the code so the quiz still works ^^; Newest updates are over at https://devils.gay/
It's still great to see more options for free web hosting of static pages popping up. Not only it gives users more variety but it also means the whole act of getting back to personal sites over social media becomes more common!
Now affiliated with Valentina of ValyceNegative, also I turned 26 so I updated my about.
How do you live like this
ever heard of people who like continuously vandalize wikipedia pages for years using hundreds of different sock puppet accounts? it's so wild lol
